• Mindfulness is about intentionally paying attention with a kind, non-judging awareness to what is truly arising for you in this moment and offers a way to cultivate wellness and wellbeing. It really is a way of being present in your life.  Mindfulness-based methods and practice are increasingly being used in many government and corporate workplaces and as an approach in contemporary psychotherapy, so mindfulness and therapy may overlap (although I am not a therapist). If you are working with a therapist or counselor or just starting out exploring or learning how to meditate or incorporate mindfulness into your day-to-day life and would like to work in private – I can help! Or, if you are interested in implementing a mindfulness program in your workplace, I can work with you and your leaders in developing and implementing one to help improve the wellbeing of your staff.

Mindfulness involves learning and practicing specific techniques to increase our self-awareness and self-compassion without the restraint of judgment. Personal mindfulness sessions, 1:1 coaching and classes with me are collaborative; they combine dialogue, education, guided personalized practice and recommendations for establishing and maintaining a home practice.

Personal sessions and group classes provide structured environments to learn about mindfulness, to deepen a current practice or to reflect on how to bring mindfulness and self-compassion to personal issues. The context and setting of mindfulness sessions provide a safe, compassionate and confidential space to explore thoughts and feelings and the stories that come with them. Together, through deep listening and shared reflection, you are guided through an individualized session that brings self-understanding, self-compassion and possibilities for new directions.
